Catching Fire

DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ HUNGER GAMES!!!
SPOILER ALERT!
Plot: Katniss has won the hunger games and has managed to bring Peeta home as well. The capitol is not happy with the way they defied them and on top of that Panem is about to go into a rebellion. In the next book in the series, Katniss has to figure out who she really loves, and how to keep her family safe.
Review: Suzanne Collins does not disappoint in the next book in the Hunger Games series. I liked this book more than the Hunger Games because of the conflicts and the way this girl has to deal with them. About half-way through the book takes a surprising twist which makes it impossible to put down, and to top it all of the book ends in quite the cliff-hanger which just leaves you asking for more. This series is for everybody and you will not be disappointed. The 3rd book "Mockingjay" comes out in August.

The Hunger Games

Plot: Katniss Everdeen lives in a post-apocalyptic future, where there is a dictatorship called the capitol which now rules over the ruins that were once North America. Every year the capitol hosts a deadly brawl called the Hunger Games in which two teens from each of the twelve districts fight to the death. The story is about Katniss and how she takes her sisters place in the games and her struggles with survival and love.
Review: This has to be one of my favorite books of all time! I really read it in 2 days because of how intense and well written it was. I would reccomend this to ANY person, whether you like romance, action, betrayal, mystery, this book has it all. I loved the concept and how this girl figures out how to survive with her wits and her amazing ability to shoot arrows. I will say that this is almost better than twilight, and there are rumors going around that a movie is to be made out of it. The 3rd book in this series, "Mockingjay" comes out in August and I do not know how I am going to be able to wait for it.

The Immortals: Shadowland

So i just finished this book and I want to throw it out the window! DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT READ EVERMORE AND BLUE MOON YET!!!!
The Plot: Ever and Damen are together but they cant touch each other because of some events that went down in the last book. Trouble is happening while Ever is trying to get a cure from Roman and Ever meets the mysterious Jude who she is somewhat attracted to.
My Opinion: In the words of Jodi... at the end of Blue Moon, i wanted to throw the book out the window. In Shadowland, I wanted to throw it out the window, burn it, then run over it with a semi truck. Don't get me wrong it was a good book and I'm excited for the next one but instead of problems getting resolved... they only got worse. The only bad thing I would say is that I am seeing a pattern with each of these books. Mysterious guy shows up in each one and either bad or good things happen. Well so far this series is pretty and worth your reading.

The Immortals: Blue Moon

Blue Moon is the sequel to Evermore by Alyson Noel.
The plot: Damen is trying to teach Ever the perks of being an immortal when Damen is suddenly overcome with this sickness and forgets all about Ever. Ever has to travel into summerland to find the cure for Damen's mysterious illness but while she does she discovers something very shocking.
I did enjoy this book even though in parts it just seems to drag on day after day. It still is suspensful though and is a very good sequel to the first book. Though I will have to say, that the ending made me very angry and crazy for the next book which I am reading at the moment. This series throws you through twists and turns and by the time your finished leaves you hungry for more.

Evermore Review

Well I thought since that I am reading the 3rd book in this series i would put out a review about the first 2. The first book in this series is called evermore. The plot is about a girl who's parents died in a car accident. She should of died but ends up living but with special powers. A couple months later she meets an extremely hot Damen.
In my opinion this book was pretty good. It is written in a different kind of style and you may have a bit of trouble getting into it at first. It is a little weird starting out but by the end your wanting more. Damen is now one of my favorite fictional characters. It's a great love story and i would recommend it for anyone who is a love junkie but likes a bit of action and twists thrown in.

Im starting a blog!!!

So i love to read. I seem to be the library of all of my peers, and they have told me that i should start my own blog stating what i think about some of the books i read. Ill do a weekly blog about a book that i have read and what I thought about it. Pass this around and I hope you enjoy. At the moment I am reading Shadowland by alyson noel, as soon as I am done I will let you know what i think!
